Day 8

This day was fully dedicated to the final preparations for the final ESSENCE Concept project event — concert of the group BARAKA.

The venue of the event got final touches of the preparation — the walls were decorated with the band's poster, the rows of seats were formed, the pillows were placed, the additional coat hangers were installed, all the stage equipment (sound, lighting) was checked.

At the evening session took place the event itself. The concert was presented to the public by two active participants of the project. They gave a short speech to the public, presented the band and told the public about the ERASMUS+ support for the project and about general possibilities of such projects. Before the main concert, one of the project participants has performed a piano play, playing his own improvised compositions, thus making the whole concert indeed international.

This day gave all the participants a possibility to develop their practical skills in real cultural event organizing, to improve different team work abilities during real live event, to check their ability to react to different situations whe they arise during the event and to interact with the public in order to present the cultural product in the most interesting and effective way.

Day 9

The morning session was fully dedicated to the discussion about the project and the concert. During this session participants shared their thoughts and experience and their future visions about the possible projects that may have been born during the 9 days of the project.

Day 7

During the morning session the project participants were working in the teams as usual in order to deal with technical issues that are arising during any cultural event organisation and before the ESSENCE Concept concert.

Day 6

During the first session of the day participants had a short introduction about the financial part of cultural event organization. After that they got a practical task of developing a financial strategy for some nominal event.

Day 5

The first session of the day was a meeting with the organizers of the local cultural event festival Give & Get. Meeting was held outside of LAMPA space and in more informal atmosphere. During this session participants could get the inside information about large scale event organization. As the festival is not a commercial event, participants were able to find out about how to attract volunteers to work at the festival, to get practical experiences that are connected with social and cultural event organization. Also this was another possibility to exchange contacts and experience with local experienced representatives working in the field of cultural event organization.

Day 4

At the first session of the day, participants have received vital information about press releases, presented by the course trainer Sergey Bremer who as a journalist himself has a huge experience in this field.

Day 3: starting to plan the real concert

After tuning to the informal wave, participants have introduced others to their vision of cultural events in their home countries and were talking about local event organization specifics.
